Her depiction of relationships, husband and wife, parent and child, siblings is intricate and touching. There are some wonderful love stories in her books, in particular Here Be Dragons and The Sunne In Splendour. She has written two trilogies, The Welsh Trilogy and The Henry II Trilogy. The Sunne in Splendour is a stand alone novel.
